A Little Background...
Hi, I’m Mikayla 👋I offer private, in-home pet care for dogs and cats.
I have years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all ages, personalities, and needs, including shelter work, dog daycare, and long-term pet sitting.
I prioritize maintaining pets’ existing routines, feeding schedules, and comfort levels to keep stress low while you’re away. In addition to dogs and cats, I’m happy to water plants, take out trash, feed fish, and maintain small pet enclosures. I am also comfortable working with senior pets, special needs pets, and administering medications as needed.
I’ll be unavailable between April 15th and September 1st due to some big life events. I truly appreciate your patience and support.
Before Booking: A Few Things to Know...
Care & presence
I stay at the client’s home full-time. I may occasionally step out briefly (usually no longer than an hour), but I’ll always let you know in advance if I need to be gone longer for any reason.
Availability & scheduling
Please reach out via text or email for booking
My calendar reflects dates that are fully available or fully booked.
If a date shows limited availability, please reach out to discuss scheduling.
I require at least 48 hours’ notice for new bookings.
Bookings must be at least two nights.
Some single night stays will be available upon discussion.
Meet & greet
A meet and greet is required at least 48 hours before the first booking for new clients.
Payment & cancellation
‣ A 50% deposit is due 24 hours before the booking to reserve your dates
‣ The remaining balance is due within 24 hours after the booking ends
‣ Cancellations are welcome up to 24 hours before the booking
‣ Cancellations after that window are non-refundable
‣ Payment is made via Venmo (if Venmo doesn’t work for you, we can discuss alternatives)
Communication & updates
I send daily photos and updates via text.
Texting is my primary form of communication, calls are fine if needed.
Video calls are reserved for emergencies only.
In-Home Security
If you have indoor cameras, that's totally fine.
I just ask that they are disclosed ahead of time and not placed in private areas (bedroom, bathrooms).
Care instructions
Please leave clear, detailed instructions for your home and pets, including emergency contact information. I care for multiple households, and this helps me make sure nothing is missed and that your pets get exactly what they need.
